    Today I ventured into some unexplored ground (17km round trip hike), everything is so overgrown here after the summer rains but I did manage to find one nice pocket of smoky Quartz crystals.     The last few days have been full of surprises. 9 times out of 10 it takes a lot of hiking and hard work to find nice crystals but this particular afternoon I had this sudden feeling to just go for a drive and a quick little hike. Our daily crystal adventures have been full of challenges and a few mishaps but never short of laughter.
