They say a picture tells a thousand words but I’d need a thousand pictures just to sum up the month of April! What a journey it’s been, so many memories, campfire chats, laughs and a few challenges too (but that’s what makes a good adventure right?!) As always, these landscapes always feel more special when shared with friends. Thank you for all your amazing comments on my last few posts, I haven’t had the chance to read them all yet as I’ve been busy getting ready for a dig at the Eagles Bluff Aquamarine mine. These last few days of digging have been nothing short of incredible 🫶🏽 The clarity, the luster, and size of these Smoky Quartz crystals are beyond anything I’ve ever found here at the O’Briens Creek gem fields. I found this pocket at the end of last year but wet season flooding made it impossible to keep digging. So stoked to have returned back again and shovelled mud, water and dirt with @raybear244 to find these epic treasures! So much fun.
