What started as a spontaneous trip into the Aussie outback in search of smoky/citrine crystals, soon became one of the more challenging trips I’ve done. Despite many hurdles, the patience and hard work eventually paid off and the “Heart of Spades” find was born. Without a doubt these are some of the finest citrine crystals I’ve ever seen from Australia, unique in their perfection, colour, crystallisation and, well, VIBE! 💛 Thank you again to Like @outback_finds for making this crazy road trip with me.

Another lap around the sun. Usually I fly under the radar when it comes to birthdays but I thought I’d celebrate this one with you! And what a year it’s been….the shift of seasons (both inward and outward) for me has been a big journey, filled with colours, lots of change and a deep gratitude for my time spent in nature. But, MOST importantly: thank you to everyone who’s been part of this adventure , near or far, I wouldn’t be here, sharing all of this if it wasn’t for YOU! 😌 So whether it’s summer storms, winter stillness or the glint of spring, remember to celebrate ALL of your seasons. Sometimes a journey just calls to you, despite the odds. This trip was one of them. From the scorching heat to the rough roads and red dust, this 3000km round trip trek into the Aussie outback was an adventure. Filled with obstacles and moments of uncertainty, we ultimately discovered some extraordinary Citrine crystals. Incredible to think such perfection is laying just under the dirt in such a harsh rugged landscape! This area is something I’ve been working towards for over 15 years and have named it “The Heart of Spades” claim, a little play on words but mostly just honouring the heart and soul I’ve poured into my ltreasure hunts in this lifetime.
